All borders are wide open for Ukrainian refugees
The Romanian Border Police opened all border crossings with Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova for Ukrainian refugees who are coming to Romania.
6 Border crossing points with the Republic of Moldova
According to Romanian Border Police website, there are 6 border crossing points with the Republic of Moldova which can be used in order to enter in Romania. The average waiting time is between 0 – 29 minutes, with two exceptions: Rădăuți Prut (0-50 minutes) and Albița ( 0-59 minutes).
4 Border crossing points with the Ukraine
There are 4 crossing points with the Ukraine if you want to enter in Romania. All 4 crossing points are completely open and operational 24/24. If you are coming from Ukraine, you can enter in Romania to the following crossing points:
- Halmeu – at a distance of 30 km from Виноградів. Average waiting time: 10 minutes.
- Sight Marmației – at a distance of 53 km from Рахів. Average waiting time: 10 minutes.
- Siret – at a distance of 42 km from Чернівці. Average waiting time: 20 minutes.
- Isaccea – at a distance of 300 km from Одеса. Average waiting time: 60 minutes.
